  • Chaos Fighters-Route of Earth(Path 34-Submerged)

While Serina and Beile were running in the slowly ascending tunnel, water suddenly flowed in the tunnel and the water level slowly rising. After a few minutes, the whole tunnel was filled in water and they were forced to use their rebreathers. A blue hollow was standing in front of them.
“You are not reaching your home guild!” It took out a revolver with conical water crystals and shot a few bullets on them. They merely strafed slowly to dodge them.

“Being submerged is not a problem!” Serina took out a pair of gragnast (larger revolver with ammunition capacity of 16 bullets) with round bullets and exchanged shots with it while Beile took out an axe staff (a staff with axe blade edges perpendicular with its handle) and threw it to the hollow while charging it with ice aura.

“Freeze!” Beile cast the spell when the hollow was stabbed. It was frozen under a layer of ice and the water became slightly colder. Beile dashed towards it, attempting to punch her staff but it quickly freed itself just in time and launched the ice shards, piercing her body.

“Take this,” It charged her staff with wind aura and launched it out from itself and Beile was stabbed instead. Serina charged her bullets with gravtions and shot them in projectile motion.

“Take that!” Serina ran to her front, taking Beile’s staff out while pointing her gun down onto the ground and stabbed it back. The hollow quickly charged it with poison aura and flowed the poison into her hand, poisoning her.

“What about this?” Beile recovered Serina from her poisoned condition and punched the staff. The staff thrust through the hollow, making a small hole on the spot where the staff thrust through.

“This is merely a scratch,” It switched to a pair of square shaped platinum shield and rammed the shield on them. They were pushed back 5 meters. Then, it threw the shields as if they were boomerangs and dashed towards them while wearing titanium gloves.

“Oh? Want something more powerful than this?” They charged their hands with non-elemental aura and drew a magic circle together. The shields went inside the magic circle and it was disappeared. Just when the hollow came close, the magic circle appeared again and the shields hit slashed through it instead.

“Ha, now let’s crank out more damage!” They charged themselves with rock aura and cast rock astraea on it. A magic circle appeared above it and on its legs each, launching a rock spike from each of them, piercing its body and turning it into dusts. The water level was slowly going down and eventually disappeared.

“Looks like our coworkers and bosses are in danger,” Serina drank a bottle of aura potion.

“Definitely,” Beile drank one too. Then, after a few seconds, a sound portal appeared.

“We are under attack, but don’t worry too much. Your job now is to prevent a few demons from aiding the ones attacking us. They are currently at your next town. We are counting on you,” An unknown voice was heard along with sounds of fighting, perhaps that the one who cast the sound portal spell was hiding from the demons to deliver the message.

“Let’s go,” They ran to their front. After one day, at the central tunnel,

“Is it possible that the smugglers bringing supplies for the demons at the west side of this country?” Meltine asked everyone.

“Definitely. In fact, the demons are now attacking Zorn for successfully delivering the metals with our aid. They must be getting angry for a revenge,” Lefio answered her. They will meet one soon….

  • Chaos Fighters-Route of Earth(Path 33-Discussion)

Back to Tefia and the others,
“The king is pleased that the chosen one is coming to aid us. In fact, this is Lefrad’s crisis after all, isn’t it?” Ancio laughed a bit.

“I think we should wait for Ancrast and Weiloe for this. At least they will be good assets for this operation,” Tefia took the badge wore the badge on her chest.

“I see. So, I guess we better wait for now. Yeah, will you two join us?” Ancio pointed at the girls transporting the metals.

“Yes. I think we better introduce ourselves now. I’m Serina Krios and she is Beile (pronounced as bill) Lasom,” The girl with cowboy wear stood up while pointing at the girl wearing black robe.

“The courier girls, eh? Looks like this is really a big issue. This is Tefia Rypal, the chosen one. I think you know her since that she works as a transporter as well,” Meltine pointed at Tefia, who was looking at the surroundings.

“We know her very well. I’m glad that we are working in other countries or we will have some fierce competition going on. Anyone working for a transporting guild on the land in this continent knows her as one of the best transporter,” Beile stared sharply at Tefia.

“You two are far more famous than us. After all you two are considered veterans among the transportation guilds,” Tefia smirked at them.

“Hey, don’t ignore us, okay? I’m Orkaf Sinox, he is Lefio Kinaf and she is Meltine Phika. I think having a saint and a demon will make this much easier. I’m a miner after all,” Orkaf sighed while looking at the ceiling.

“Yeah, a miner with a personally customized mining axe. Don’t look yourself down too much,” Tefia snapped him out.

“Well, I guess you all know each other, right? Let’s go back to our discussion. As for now, I think we should split. Two will go to the lands, two will go below and the rest should go for the deep ground cities. What do you think?” Ancio pointed at the three tunnels leading northwards.

“We’ll go to the land. After all, who knows if our transportation guild will be attacked by demons because of our delivery?” Beile told everyone.

“You got a point. I guess we’ll have the deep ground path give to Ancrast and Weiloe. I’ll take the middle one,” Meltine did the same. After a few seconds, Ancrast and Weiloe suddenly appeared in front of them.

“I heard it. That’s quite a good idea. But don’t rush too fast, though. We might need to capture the underground capital together,” Ancrast showed thumbs up at them.

“So, it is decided then. As for schedule, Serina and Beile should go right now while the rest go by next morning. Your guild is at Zorn, isn’t it?” Ancio pointed at the map.

“Yes, I understand. We’ll go right away,” They teleported themselves to the tunnel leading west and started running.

“Ancrast and Weiloe, go to Wurtz city. The border deep ground areas will get aid from Castyf soldiers,” Ancio continued his ordering. “The rest should go attack Qylfez city. Once you freed the city from demons we’ll wait for further orders from the king himself so that we can strike Nizum together and chase the demons out from Ryscin. I think this sums up my plan and good luck,” He teleported himself away.

“So, where we should get new supplies? We need a lot of them if we are attacking armies of demons,” Tefia asked Ancrast.

“You should check out the shops around this mansion. Hopefully we’ll see each other after this,” Ancrast answered her before he teleported himself away. They will have detours when they start their operation….

  • Chaos Fighters-Route of Earth(Path 32-Road of Aid Part Three)

While Ancrast and Weiloe were running around the tunnel,
“How does it feel to be my sidekick rather than my maid?” Ancrast asked her.

“It feels good, but I rather become a maid after this is all over, or more properly, your wife, I think? I don’t want to miss the action, but…” She blushed upon hearing the question.

“I hope I can marry you, but, let’s just say that I might be called back anytime and I don’t know if I can drag you along,” Ancrast took out his platinum mace while Weiloe took out a platinum double sword lance. The sword was having no cross guards and only have 2 centimeters wide and 3 milimeters thick. After 20 minutes, they spotted a gargoyle carrying metals using a cart.

“Hand over these metal blocks or you shall be turned into dusts!” Weiloe charged it with fire aura. The tips on the blades were burning.

“No, and I’ll turn you into dusts instead,” It turned around and hovered on the ground. “And this is no joke,” It charged its wings with rock aura and launched a few petrifying slash waves on them, which they blocked and the weapons were petrified instead, but they charged their weapons with metal aura and they turned into weapons covered with sandstone instead.

“We are not joking as well!” Ancrast charged his mace with photons and shot laser beams from the spikes pointing to his front simultaneously, but it blocked them using its wings and fell down onto the ground.

“I guess I have no choice but to get serious, isn’t it?” Weiloe dashed towards it, but it charged itself with ice aura and the ground turned slippery and she was skidded, with her lance stabbed onto the ground, almost moving out of control.

“You think this is called serious? You are making black humor, you moronic fools!” It charged its claws with water aura and shot water jets onto the ground, making her fell down onto the ground but her lance still moved towards it and slashed through its right wing. After a few seconds, she knocked it towards the lance and her left wing was slashed while it crashed on the tunnel’s left wall.

“Yes, but the victim is you instead of us, sucker!” Ancrast cast rough on the ground and the ground turned back into normal while she teleported her lance back to her. It stood up and recovered its wings.

“This is not something that you should say before everything is done,” It charged its eyes with photons and light aura. Then, two laser blasts as large as the tunnel was emitted on them.

“Definitely, but I’ll prove to you that my words are true!” Ancrast ran to his front while charging himself with photons and non-elemental aura. Light barrier was formed around him as if an invisible cone was in front of him. The attack was blocked, but it strengthened the blasts’ intensity and the barrier was broken after 1 meter past through Weiloe.

“Ancrast!” She charged herself with photons and a layer of light was covering them, protecting them from the laser blasts. After a few seconds, the attacks were ended and she healed him.

“Thanks, Weiloe. You are my savior,” He charged his mace with electric aura and launched the spiked metal ball covered with electric sparks on it while dashing towards it and formed an electric spark extending from its handle. The metal ball was deflected using its wings, but he stabbed through the wings and its body. It was turned into dusts.

“Savior? Awww….” Weiloe was fainted and her face turned pink upon hearing the word “savior”. Ancrast carried she and her weapon before they were teleported to Vidva village. The discussion is going on at the moment….

  • Chaos Fighters-Route of Earth(Path 31-Road of Aid Part Two)

“Now say your prayers for descend to the realm of death!” He charged his spear with positrons and attempted to shot a laser blast on her suddenly,
“I guess late for a second and I’ll say goodbye to you,” Ancrast teleported to his front and kicked his spear, thrusting through his body before the laser blast hit him instead. She was shocked upon looking at Ancrast, yet she stood up and sealed him. He was teleported to the land, waiting for officers to arrest him.

“The supplies…I’m supposed to send the metals and now they’re gone,” The girl with cowboy clothing was searching around the area.

“Wait, sending? So those metals are….” The girl with cream robe felt weird upon hearing her words.

“The metals requested by the Ryscin Royal army. We were ordered to send them manually and now we are screwed because we don’t have the metals required to forge weapons,” The girl wearing black robe answered her.

“Now the smugglers co-operated with the demons…maybe a demon have it. We must search for….” Just when the girl wearing cream robe walked into the center tunnel, Ancrast dragged her back.

“I sensed one nearby and it’s leading to the deeper grounds. Let’s chase it. The others, go ahread and you know what you should say,” Ancrast and the girl wearing cream robe walked to the right tunnel and disappeared. The others quickly ran through the center tunnel. After a day, they arrived at Vidva village. The wooden houses were arranged in clusters of X shaped patterns, presumably separated the houses as blocks.

“So, where are the metals?” Ancio Presfo, the chief of the village called them upon at their arrival.

“We were ambushed by the demons and the smugglers and the metals were stolen. Now…” The girl in black robe tried to answer him, but Meltine quickly interrupted her.

“Ancrast and his partner were chasing a demon which might have the metals with it,” Meltine spread her white and feathery wings, showing that she is a saint.

“I see. Looks like what we feared most has come true. Let’s have some rest in my mansion while we try to discuss some war strategies,” He pointed at a wooden mansion located at the center. It was as large as a port town warehouse. They sat on the chairs near its balcony at the first floor.

“Now this village is free from the demons thanks to those two people you’ve mentioned earlier. And her name is Weiloe (pronounced as willow) Faransk. They offered themselves to help us yesterday to exterminate the demons and we are now safe, but too bad other deep ground cities were in trouble and we don’t know how long we have to hold on and we are having supply shortage thanks to those smugglers co-operating with the demons and smuggled the metals to other countries while giving some of them to the demons as commission. So, I personally request you all to aid us, not to defeat the demons, but track down smugglers for us. You might feel odd for this, but I must say that we decided to not relying on people outside of this country anymore regarding the demons. I hope you understand this,” Ancio told them.

“Sorry, but I think this is not a good idea. We are here to aid you on everything and we expect your co-operation. This is a continental crisis and this is the proof,” Tefia was angry with his words, pulled off her chest badge and put it on the desk.

“I see. Looks like that stubborn asshole king do this, huh? Wait for a sec,” He walked away from them while taking the badge and cast sound portal.

“Are you sure of this? Wouldn’t…” Orkaf asked Tefia but he was quickly interrupted by the girl wearing cowboy clothing.

“The king of Eksia is known of his pride and refused lots of civilian and foreign aid. Now he formed a royal mercenary guild and recruited lots of mercenaries under a contract basis. Our king is much less proud but he gave a statement that he will refuse any foreign help, which actually the idea comes from him. Now we have a chance to make his highness change his idea,” The girl wearing black robe told everyone. After a few seconds, Ancio walked towards them and put the badge with a smile.

“The king agreed with me. Let’s talk about tactics now,” He sat down on his chair and put a detailed map on the desk. At the meantime, Ancrast and Weiloe were on their way to get the metals back….

  • Chaos Fighters-Route of Earth(Path 30-Road of Aid Part One)

While they were running through the tunnel leading to the borders, a gunner wearing cowboy clothing was waving hands to them.
“Help! Help!” She shouted loudly. They stopped running and walked towards her. Her clothes were ripped badly, making her looked like a beggar.

“Is there anything we can help? It seems that you were attacked,” Tefia examined her clothes and found out that they were corroded by acid. “An acid hollow, I think?”

“Yes. My partner was kidnapped by it and now running towards the branching tunnels. Please save her,” She was discharging her aura. They quickly run faster than usual. After one day, sounds of weapons clashing were heard but it was quickly disappeared.

“Well, I think this means nothing but that moronic hollow. Let’s slay it!” Orkaf dashed to his front and saw a hollow holding an octahedral seal. The seal contained a magician wearing black robe and holding a ruby staff.

“Stop or I’ll kill her with a stab!” It shouted to them while walking backwards. Then, suddenly it was kicked and the seal was thrown towards them. Lefio caught it and kept it into his dimensional storage.

“Well, who is making such a fuss here, huh?” It was slashed a few times before it turned around, yet it saw nothing.

“What the hell you are doing here, Ancrast?” Lefio took out a halberd, charged it with alkali aura and threw it across him and the hollow. It dashed to take the weapon and it ended up turning into dusts as the basic liquids flowed into it and neutralized itself.

“I was requested to aid Ryscin so I teleported myself for that favor. After all, I can’t just stay at a town and watch over a mine which anyone can watch over it,” Ancrast turned around and stared him sharply. Lefio took out the seal and freed her.

“I see. The news about your identity as the exiled demon prince spread too fast, I think,” Meltine examined her and found out she was unharmed. Then, she woke up and frantically shouted randomly.

“This is bad. The smugglers have taken our supplies!” She searched for her metal blocks.

“What? They must be trying to take them across Ryscin to Castyf. Let’s chase them before it’s too late!” Ancrast quickly ran along the tunnel and the others quickly followed him. At the meantime, at the border, where a guard was standing in front of a branch which separate to three paths,

“Okay, now’s the deal, knock off this annoying guard and I’ll aid you to defend the cities from the ground grunts,” A man wearing black cloak was talking to a dark hound.

“Yes. Take you promise of you’ll feel the wrath of a demon,” It ran towards the guard, charged itself with poison aura and bit him using poisonous fangs. Then, it teleported itself away while the guard was killed. He walked across the border, taking the central path but he was quickly stopped by a girl wearing cream colored robe with a pearl colored sword.

“I know your tricks, smuggler. Now hand over your items and I’ll spare your life,” She shouted at him, but he took out a rocket launcher and shot rockets on her. She merely launched slash waves on them and they were exploded.

“I guess I have nothing to do but to kill you!” He switched to a spear with laser pike tips and dashed towards her. She strafed to her right, dodging the attack but he quickly swung his lance ho his left, knocking her to the wall. This is not over yet….
